The Grout Medic Offers Special Discount
to Raise Money for Breast Cancer Research
The Grout Medic announces fundraising drive in October for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month
CHICAGO, ILLINOIS—With a customer base made up of mostly women, Ron Bandyk, owner of the west/southwest Chicagoland Grout Medic, knew he wanted to do something in support of that community in October for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. He presented the idea for company-wide fundraising for Breast Cancer Awareness month as a way of doing that. Bandyk knows well the importance of research in finding a cure for breast cancer as his own sister-in-law was diagnosed with the disease—and has survived.
For every job participating Grout Medic franchises book in October, they will contribute $5 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF). BCRF remains one of the most fiscally responsible charities in the country, having earned 4 stars from Charity Navigator (out of four stars) for the eleventh time since 2002. Currently, $0.91 of every dollar spent by BCRF is directed toward breast cancer research and awareness programs.
The Grout Medic of West/Southwest Chicagoland is taking this a step further, offering a 5 percent discount off the cost of each job booked; they will contribute an additional 5 percent to the BCRF (maximum of $50).
This offer from the Grout Medic of West/Southwest Chicagoland is good from now through the end of October.
