Meet Ricky, a highly experienced Master Tile & Restoration Technician at The Grout Medic of Chattanooga, bringing more than a decade of hands-on experience in flooring, tile, showers, and remodeling to our team.

Ricky’s background is about as well-rounded as it gets. Over the years, he has worked with virtually every type of flooring, including tile, LVT, hardwood, engineered flooring, and carpet, while also building custom showers, backsplashes, stairs, and railings.

His experience in shower installation and remodeling has given him a deep understanding of how all the pieces of a project need to work together—from the structure underneath to the finished tile and grout.

Ricky is also a true problem solver. He’s comfortable working independently, figuring out challenges as they come, and taking a project from demolition all the way through the finished product. Whether he’s rebuilding a shower, repairing tile, or bringing worn-out grout back to life, he brings the same hands-on approach and pride in craftsmanship to every job.

Meet Tyler, a Lead Installation & Innovation Technician at The Grout Medic of Chattanooga, bringing hands-on shower and bath installation experience together with an engineering mindset and a passion for finding better ways to do things.

Tyler spent more than two years as a Lead Shower and Bath Installer, gaining valuable experience working directly in customers’ homes and managing projects from start to finish. That experience taught him the importance of craftsmanship, efficiency, communication, and treating every home with the same care and respect he would expect in his own.

What makes Tyler especially valuable to our team is the way he approaches problems. After earning his Associate degree in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Northwestern Technical College, Tyler naturally began looking at our work through an engineering lens.

He’s constantly bringing new ideas, creative solutions, and innovative tools to the table—looking for ways to increase quality, improve efficiency, and make challenging jobs easier to execute correctly.

Tyler isn’t satisfied with simply getting a job done. He’s always asking how we can do it better, smarter, and more consistently. That combination of technical knowledge and hands-on experience makes him an important part of our continued pursuit of better craftsmanship.

Meet Mona, the Co-Owner & Operations Director of The Grout Medic of Chattanooga, proudly running the company alongside her husband and business partner, Mike.

While the work our customers see happens in the field, Mona is the driving force behind much of what happens behind the scenes. From HR and payroll to business systems, technology, and process management, she keeps the moving parts of the company organized, efficient, and on track.

Her ability to manage complex systems comes from a formidable background in PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programming, where she worked with the automation systems that serve as the brains behind sophisticated industrial machinery.

She also brings extensive experience managing teams and coordinating large-scale projects, giving her an exceptional ability to see the big picture while keeping track of the details.

Mona brings that same analytical mindset to The Grout Medic every day. She is constantly looking for ways to improve our systems, support our team, and create a better experience for our customers.

Simply put, Mona helps make sure everything works—and that everyone stays on track while it does.

Meet Mike, the Co-Owner & Customer Experience Director of The Grout Medic of Chattanooga, proudly leading the company alongside his wife and business partner, Mona.

While Mona keeps the operational side of the business running smoothly, Mike focuses on the bigger picture: earning our customers’ trust and making sure we deliver on our promises.

His approach to business was shaped by a background in the automotive industry and engineering, where he learned the principles of Kaizen—continuous improvement—and the discipline of eliminating waste while improving quality.

He brings those principles into the company every day, constantly looking for ways to make our processes better, our service more consistent, and our customers’ experience exceptional.

But for Mike, the business has always been about more than processes and numbers. He believes strongly in building genuine, long-term relationships within the Chattanooga community and making sure customers know they have a team they can rely on—not just during the project, but afterward as well.

Mike leads by example, investing heavily in his own development as a leader and challenging the team to continually raise the bar.

His goal is straightforward: do excellent work, take care of people, and build a company Chattanooga homeowners can trust.

Nick brings a unique perspective to property rejuvenation, rooted in his professional background in real estate. Having navigated the housing market, he understands firsthand how immaculate tile and pristine, sealed grout lines can completely transform a space, protect a home's value, and make an immediate difference in how a property looks and feels.

With more than 10 years of experience spanning home repairs and customer service, Nick has developed a sharp understanding of both the technical and aesthetic sides of the trade. A gifted artisan who excels in precision woodworking and custom furniture, he brings that same passion for fine details to every tile and grout project.

From meticulous regrouting and precision tile replacement to deep cleaning and color sealing, Nick approaches each project with an artisan’s eye. Whether he’s reviving a weathered shower or executing intricate grout repairs, he treats every surface with the care, precision, and craftsmanship it deserves.

Meet Isaak, the Business Operations & Product Specialist at The Grout Medic of Chattanooga.
Isaak brings a unique combination of military discipline, operational precision, and specialized tile-industry knowledge to our team. Before entering the tile world, he served in the U.S. Army, where he developed an exceptional work ethic and a literal “jump-first” attitude—frequently jumping out of airplanes with a heavy mortar strapped to his leg.

Following his military service, Isaak joined Daltile, where he immersed himself in the technical side of the tile industry. He developed an in-depth understanding of tile composition, grout chemistry, installation systems, and specialized product performance while building an equally strong foundation in customer service.

Today, Isaak puts that knowledge to work behind the scenes, ensuring our field teams have the right products, tools, and information to deliver exceptional results. His combination of technical expertise and operational discipline helps keep the entire team performing at its best.

Meet Jesse, a Master Restoration Technician at The Grout Medic of Chattanooga, bringing an incredible 20 years of hands-on craftsmanship to our team.

Jesse’s legendary eye for detail was forged over two decades in the demanding world of automotive restoration, where perfection is measured in fractions of an inch and there is little room for error. Working on classic vehicles taught him the value of precision fabrication, meticulous preparation, and flawless finishes—skills that translate remarkably well to tile and grout restoration.

Long before doing this work professionally, Jesse was applying those same skills to his own home. He tackled custom bathroom remodeling projects himself, including cleaning and color-sealing his own grout simply for the satisfaction of achieving a perfect result.

That pursuit of perfection is still evident in his work today. Jesse notices the small details others overlook and approaches every project with patience, precision, and pride.

His philosophy is simple: the job gets done right, the first time, every time.
